The RUB Scheme (R.U.Brilliant) is the club’s very own internal award system. This is primarily (but not exclusively) aimed archers in their first year of shooting.

There are 6 separate awards under the RUB scheme. Each of these require the archer to reach a certain level of increasing skill and consistency on a Portsmouth Round or a FITA 50/70 for the outdoor season.

Once an archer has achieved the desired score they must then submit the score sheet to the club secretary who will verify and award the archer with a certificate. This information will also be added to the club’s Roll of Honor on the website. If an archer chooses, they may also buy a badge.

Portsmouth Longbow scores are adjusted to be:

Full Black: 400, Gold: 350, Purple: 275, Black: 200, White: 150, Full White: 100.

Fita 50/70 Longbow scores are adjusted to be:

Full Black: 180, Gold: 135, Purple: 100, Black: 75, White: 60 Full White: 50.

Compound and Barebow use the same score system as Recurve.
